11 Mother’s Day Gifts You Can Actually Afford 🤑
No need to spend big to show Mom how much you love her.
Hello fabulous friends!
In this newsletter, you won’t find your average “best picks” list. I’m not just throwing goodies at you—I actually use and love these items, and the pics are my proof!
Come Mother’s Day, we moms are pretty simple creatures. We're not hunting for the moon; just some quality time with our kick-ass families and a one-day vacation from our gig as the CEO of Everything. So, stash that wallet this year; there’s no need to spend big. A sprinkle of love and perhaps surrendering the TV remote for a day? Trust me, it’s like magic! Enjoy!
Assouline Books: It’s no secret that these coffee table books are my absolute faves! Every single one from the Travel Series? Stunning. Collecting them all is the dream. Don't skip out on their fashion and lifestyle collections either - they are just as beautiful. For all you travelholic mamas out there, drawing decor vibes from your worldwide jaunts, this one's for you!
Rifle Paper Company: Every time I browse this store, I'm tempted to snag every single item from the Garden Collection. Top-notch quality? Check. Adorable designs? Double check. Wallet-friendly prices? Oh yeah. Seriously, what's not to adore? I've got my eye on those packing cubes to add to my collection. This one's for all the garden mamas out there who love coordinating their pretty things, from stationery to travel bags and everything in between.
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Body Oil & Ultra-nourishing Lip Balm, Rêve de Miel: Drench yourself in this luxurious oil after a soothing, lengthy shower—with or without lotion, you choose. It's a triple threat for your hair, skin, and nails. Not only does it smell heavenly, but it also looks super chic. I’ve got one stashed in my bathroom and another at my desk at work. Same with the lip balm. This is for the self-care mama who loves pampering her skin.
Jana Lam Slouchy Cross Body: A Christmas present from my one of my eco-conscious friends, it’s my current bag obsession. Crafted from cloth and adorned with gorgeous fabrics both inside and out, it’s totally washable, sports a detachable leather strap, and comes in a slew of adorable prints and colors. Perfect for the island mama who adores a splash of color and pattern in her life.
Passion Planner (Daily Undated): I've been loyal to my Passion Planner for the past six years—it's my absolute go-to, so they better stick around forever! Normally, I'm all about the weekly dated version, but earlier this year, I tried out the daily editions and I'm loving the additional space to scribble down my notes. These are three-month editions, ideal for the organized mama who appreciates a bit of extra room for her creative bursts.
iPhone covers from Diane Hill: I have two of these gorgeous iPhone covers from Diane Hill, a Chinoiserie artist out of the UK, and only because I upgraded my phone. These phone covers are both stunning and tough as nails! Considering I drop my phone about a billion times a day, believe me, I'm an expert. Best to team it up with a screen protector for the ultimate phone armor. This is for the mamas that love form AND function.
Coco Mademoiselle Chanel perfume: This perfume has been my holy grail ever since my husband surprised me with it a few years back. Every time I wear it, the compliments just keep rolling in, and everyone I’ve gifted it to (including my mom) absolutely adores it. I honestly have to stop myself from going overboard with the spritzing. This is perfect for the mama who likes to leave a lasting impression, long after she’s left the room.
Winans Coffee: I'm a coffee fanatic through and through, but this brew is something else. A friend brought it back from a trip to the US, and let me tell you, it was love at first sip! Highlander Grogg is my go-to flavor, but I have my sights on the Snickerdoodle next. Oh, and do yourself a favor—don't skip the Chocolate Covered Dried Blueberries. They're absolutely delish! This is for the mama that loves to pamper her taste buds with a little extra gourmet goodness.
Aloha Collection Pouches: Max bought these for me while we were in Hawaii. The kid knows I love a cute bag. These pouches are waterproof, available in three sizes, and feature designs that cater to every taste. Perfect for stashing a soggy swimsuit on a splashy vacation or keeping your makeup glam squad organized on the go! These are for the mama that’s always ready for anything.
Staub Cast Iron Stackable Set: These beauties shot to the top of my wishlist after I scored a 5 Qt coquette from our local Staub outlet and discovered the magic of cast iron cooking—seriously, where has this been all my life? I love that they’re space-savers yet still manage to look stunning on a kitchen shelf. These are a game-changer for the kitchen-savvy mama who thrives on blending chic style with serious culinary chops.
Lululemon: Honestly, I didn’t believe the hype for the longest time. But once my #besthusbandever decided to play fashion hero by getting me not one, but two Lululemon outfits last year during our London vacation, I was hooked. The Align Leggings are absolute bliss, and the Define Jacket Luon is perfect for chilly evening strolls or running those endless errands. Highly recommend the Like a Cloud Longline Ribbed Bra too - so soft! Perfect for the mama who loves a little luxury in her performance pieces.
I hope you get everything you wish for this Mother’s Day! Sending you lots of love, happiness, joy and relaxation!
Let’s Discuss:
What is on your Mother’s Day wishlist this year?
What an excellent list! I must admit I have way too many of rifle paper company products. They're just so gorgeous!
This is a fantastic list. I love the Rifle Paper Company mention. Never heard of them before but I do have a thing for pretty ways to organize everything. My purse is a collection of smaller bags with all my "just in case" and "you never know" items. :)
